What about great design with funding? Should be on the chart. Love that poster though, represents our struggle.
‘Fast’ and ‘great’ and the two choices for you then, MacKenzie.
Gorgeous, and applies to pretty much any industry :)
Design with funding = “you get what you pay for” or… “you get what you somehow convinced someone else to pay for.” :)
the “Free” circle made my day :)
These images are so beautiful! Thank you for posting, this, Andrew. As someone who is a creative that is highly analytical, I find myself in a struggle with my creative process: at times over analyzing what I am doing. I only hope in time I can find a better balance between the two halves rather than feeling I am in the middle of a struggle for dominance.
Cool. Innovative. Simple. I like.
I have this printed up on the wall in my office, and often point to it whenever necessary. It’s funny, but true!
Love this saying. Wish there were a polite way to tell clients that this is really the way it works.
I love this graphic. I have actually said to clients, Fast, Cheap, Good, pick two!
Interesting that you’ve added Free to the diagram, as well as Cheap. I guess it’s a reflection of the world we live in. :(
This couldn’t be more true. I plan on showing this exact diagram to a client I’m working with. I have tried to deliver what they need but their ‘needs’ include so much it actually takes away!
Love the chart intersection observations, especially “Go away”!
So true, in printing also.
