I’m not usually a fan of the whole swirly-vector style of illustration that gets used over and over for everything, but this series by Si Scott deserves a mention.
Their stylized forms are so elaborate and yet still realistic.

I’ve seen his work somewhere else before last year, and I liked it straight away. These days, there’s way too many Photoshop-explosion-type images been designed. Although they’re very good, many illustrators out there is doing the same old thing.
This work, though, is original, inspiring and truly unique :)

My thoughts exactly. Random swirls and explosions of colour have absolutely been done to death.
